== History == Nordic Innovation has existed for more than 40 years. It was first launched under the name The Nordic Industrial Fund on 1 July 1973, to promote technological and industrial development in the Nordic countries. The organisation was administrated by the Nordic Council of Ministers, and was located in Stockholm.
The organisation moved to Oslo in 1986, and was merged with Nordtest to become Nordic Innovation Centre in 2004. Seven years later, in 2011, the final name change was made, making it only Nordic Innovation.
